Without a doubt, one of the best places on the island to have a great time with the family is Aqualand Maspalomas. Here the little ones will enjoy a spectacular day on the different attractions of the water park.

Located in the town of Maspalomas (San Bartolomé de Tirajana), it is the largest water park in Gran Canaria with 130,000 square metres. It is made up of 14 attractions where you can have fun, as well as different activities.

Of all the attractions that the park has, these are some of the ones we love:

Boomerang: with a descent that will get your adrenaline pumping.

Mammoth: the biggest slide in the park.

Kamikaze: two identical parallel slides that go at high speed.

Pirate River: a pirate-themed circuit.

Racer Twin Turbolance: one of the biggest tubes you can find in Europe.

Palmitos Park is much more than a zoo. Also in San Bartolomé de Tirajana, it is a place where fauna and flora are concentrated, making it ideal for children to learn together with their parents.

The 4 zones into which the park is divided are:

Birds: where you will be able to see some of the most exotic birds in the world such as parrots, toucans, flamingos, etc.

Aquarium: with some of the most eye-catching fish such as the Surgeon Fish or the Scorpion Fish, to the most beloved ones such as the Clown Fish.

Garden: with the largest collection of orchids in the Canary Islands.

Reptiles: with such spectacular species as the Komodo Dragon, turtles from Australia or the giant lizard of Gran Canaria.

Mammals: one of the most famous enclosures of the zoo, with such curious species as the Meerkats, the Ant Pig or the Gibbon.

Its garden has the largest collections of orchids in the Canary Islands, as well as dozens of species from tropical areas and Australia. In fact, it is considered one of the largest gardens in Europe, with hundreds of butterflies flying free.

It is worth mentioning that its star show is the dolphins. Here we can enjoy these incredible animals and even have the chance to swim with them for half an hour.

So now you know, if you want to combine these two experiences and make your stay in Gran Canaria an unforgettable holiday, don’t hesitate to get this pack where the days are up to you. Enjoy!
