Cibeles
It was designed in 1782 by the Madrid architect Ventura Rodríguez. This is one of the most representative places in Madrid.
It is the goddess Cibeles on a chariot pulled by lions. It is a place of celebration for Real Madrid F.C. when they win a title, the streets fill up around this imposing fountain. One of the best places to see in Madrid.
Gran vía
Another of the places to see in Madrid is this emblematic avenue. There are several shops and theatre performances that can be found along its 1.3 kilometres long.

Parque del Retiro
This is a 118-hectare space in the heart of Madrid. It was built for the enjoyment of King Felipe IV.
In this place we can find different shows such as: musicians, fortune tellers and clairvoyants, puppet shows, palm readers, etc.
Palacio Real
It is the largest palace in Western Europe with more than 135,000 square metres and 3,418 rooms.

Museo Del Prado
One way to get to know a place is through its art. The Prado Museum is undoubtedly the ideal place for this, here we can find among many other pieces of art the famous painting of «Las Meninas».

Plaza Mayor
It is located in the old part of the city. We can find commemorative plaques, historical places and other symbols of great value.
It was formerly known as Plaza de Arrabal, but it changed its name over the years until it was finally called Plaza Mayor. You can’t leave here without trying the calamari sandwiches that are prepared all around it.
