Castillo de Montjuic
At the top of the mountain we can find this castle whose beginnings date back to the 17th century. It used to be a military fortress, but nowadays it is used as a lookout point from which we can enjoy incredible views. You can get there on foot or by cable car. One of the best places in Montjuïc.
Anillo Olímpico
Built for the 1992 Olympic Games in the shape of an athlete’s body with a mosaic base emulating the typical characteristics of Gaudí’s constructions. The Olympic Stadium and the Palau Sant Jordi are the venue for most of the musical concerts.
Teatro Griego
It was built for the 1929 International Exhibition. You can visit its beautiful gardens and also the theatre during its opening hours free of charge. In summer you can enjoy a festival of theatre, dance, music and circus here.
Fundación Joan Miró
Created by the artist himself with the aim of promoting knowledge and dissemination of contemporary art. The initial collection consisted mainly of his private collection and was first opened to the public in 1975. One of the best places in Montjuïc.
