Today we bring you a selection of the best wineries in Tenerife that we can find.
In La Guancha we find this bodega, close to the famous Drago Milenario. They have different native Canarian grapes in their white, red and rosé wine varieties.
As they tell us on their website, their founder, Juan Jesús Méndez, «has saved many of Tenerife’s native varieties from the brink of extinction and they continue to thrive in our vineyards today».
In March 2006, Eugenio Reveron began the extension of his old bodega, where he had been making his wine in bulk since 1947 and where he had already started to make two new wines, a semi-dry white and a red. Undoubtedly, one of the best wineries in Tenerife.
This winery offers guided tours of its facilities with a snack or lunch, located in Güímar.

Bodegas Monje was founded in 1956 by Miguel Monje, and later modernised in 1983. It is located in the town of El Sauzal and has a variety of traditional grapes that allow it to produce its wines, mostly reds. One of the oldest wineries in Tenerife.
It has a capacity of 160,000 litres, enough to process its harvest. There are 10 people who make up the team that makes it possible for these wineries to function perfectly.
Immerse yourself in an underwater winery, inaugurated on 1 May 2015. It is located in Porís de Abona, headquarters of the D. O. Abona.
It has a capacity of five thousand bottles, which are secured thanks to a steel door. They are at a depth of 18 metres, providing the best conditions of pressure, temperature, gravity, humidity and light, impossible to achieve when the wine is on the surface.
This winery, located in the town of Tacoronte, stands out for its Domínguez Blanco de Uva Tinta wine. This is a fourth generation winery whose production is protected under the Tacoronte-Acentejo Denomination of Origin.
