This monument, built on top of an ancient Roman temple, was later a mosque. Since the time of Jaume I, the Cathedral has been dedicated to the Assumption of Santa Maria.

La Lonja de la Seda 

It was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO on 5 December 1996. It is one of the most famous civil Gothic monuments in Europe. 

It is made up of three clearly differentiated bodies and a garden or «orange tree courtyard». It is located in the city centre, just opposite the Central Market.
