The city of Barcelona has different bike routes that will allow you to get to know it in a different way. Today we bring you some of the best cycling routes for you to enjoy.
These routes are as follows:
The Aigües road: it starts at Pla del Maduixers, in Barcelona, and ends at Plaça de Mireia, in Esplugues de Llobregat. Along its almost 9 kilometres it offers some of the best panoramic views of Barcelona and the Mediterranean Sea. Along the way we can see emblematic buildings such as the Sagrat Cor temple, the Collserola tower and the Fabra observatory.
From Barcelona to the Can Borni Gardens: an 8 km route that stands out for its beautiful views of Barcelona. The starting point is Plaça d’Artós, continuing along Carrer de Major de Sarrià and going up Avinguda del Tibidabo to the Aigües road. At this point, turn left onto the Vallvidrera road and then along the sandy Can Borni path, where the access to the gardens is signposted. One of the best cycling routes.
From the coast of Barcelona to Badalona: this 10 km route runs along the city’s seafront. We can see monuments such as Columbus, the Moll de la Fusta, Barceloneta, the Fòrum or the mouth of the Besòs river.
From Montcada to the mouth of the Besòs: this bike route runs along the Besòs river park, passing through Santa Coloma de Gramenet and Sant Adrià de Besòs. You will cross the Aigües and Can Zam parks, as well as the railway bridge in Sant Adrià. At the end of the section, a promenade separates the park from the beach, where the route ends, although you can choose to continue the route, turning left towards Badalona or right towards the Forum. One of the best cycling routes.
